Grid-Connected Battery for Frequency Response Services
Altenso developed this BESS in-house and is building the project in a full EPC set-up including MV and HV constructions, delivery of the substation and transformer as well as grid connection. The project uses 231 MWh of LFP batteries and is the first of a series of grid-scale BESS of the same type. By providing O&M services during operations, Altenso remains closely involved in the project.
