New name, same business model!

On November 01, 2022, we changed our name from SMA Sunbelt Energy to SMA Altenso GmbH.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of SMA, we will continue to realize international projects for you in the areas of battery storage, PV hybrid/offgrid and hydrogen.

SMA Altenso GmbH focuses on innovative PV-hybrid, battery based and Power-to-Gas projects. Our applications combine renewable energy sources with conventional power systems and optional with intelligent battery solutions. Project Implementation

In addition to our Products & Systems approach (see above), Altenso provides engineering, procurement and construction management for bigger projects in the MW range. SMA Altenso leverages on SMA’s know-how, market experience and a worldwide partner network to deliver fully integrated projects. We implement customized solutions and support you from the development phase till a complete turnkey implementation and provide valuable after-sales services.
