The project marks the start of a strategic partnership between SMA Altenso and RheinEnergie. While our partner RheinEnergie will be responsible for operating and marketing the facility, Altenso will take on development, constructions and maintenance services. Designed for an output of 24.5 MW and a usable capacity of 64 MWh, the large-scale battery park is expected to be commissioned in early 2026.
