Battery storage for frequency response services & black-start

Altenso‘s first three projects (Walenstadt 1-3) in Switzerland are co-located, grid connected battery systems, providing grid services such as frequency response and black-start for the DSO. One of them allows complete island operation of the community in case of grid issues.

Our power conversion units and battery containers are manufactured in a serial mass production in Kassel (Germany). We keep highest production standards and deliver worldwide even to very remote and secluded locations.
